ABOUT US
Who We Are
“Three sisters, two born up North, one down South had a vision for care that wasn’t reflected in the service areas that they had worked in. All devoted their lives to work with vulnerable communities and have created unique systems of care with deep and lasting results. We started this company to address the lack of services for young people and the very real dangers that vulnerable young people are often exposed to.
We understand just how deeply the early life experiences of looked after children directly impacts and shapes their lives as young people. Almost 25% of the adult prison population have been in care and 50% of under 21 year olds within the criminal justice system have spent time in care. One third of care leavers become homeless in the first two years immediately after leaving care and 25% of people experiencing homelessness have been in care. These issues are close to our hearts and providing young people with the right start is all that we want to do!”
